PhD Position in Dual-Tracer PET Imaging and Advanced Reconstruction (HZDR, Dresden)

Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf is seeking a PhD student to develop and evaluate advanced image-reconstruction algorithms for simultaneous dual-tracer PET imaging in oncology. The project focuses on creating and validating methods that can separate and quantify two radiotracers within a single scan, combining Monte Carlo simulation (GATE/Geant4), high-performance computing, and implementation in a C++-based reconstruction framework. The role involves close collaboration with clinical and research partners, offering a structured PhD program within an international interdisciplinary environment at the Institute of Radiopharmaceutical Cancer Research.
