La Fe Health Research Institute - University Medical Center La Fe in Valencia, Spain, is offering a two-year postdoctoral position as part of the international TRANSCAN 2022: MATTO-GBM project. The Biomedical Imaging Research Group (GIBI230) is seeking a qualified postdoctoral researcher with a PhD in magnetic resonance (MR) equipment development and characterization or MR image quantification. Candidates should have strong expertise in MR fundamentals and experience optimizing sequences for both patient and phantom imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing MR protocol optimization on the Signa PET/MR GE system for a prospective cohort of primary or recurrent GBM patients, including quantitative image analysis.
- Developing and implementing quality control protocols for MR equipment, involving:
- Characterization of T1, T2, and T2* parameters;
- Quantification and analysis of image quality variations based on sequence parameters;
- Optimization of dynamic imaging sequences.
- Adapting MR sequences for diverse clinical and research applications to achieve optimal imaging results.
