In 1992, the Crystal Clear Collaboration members organised the first International conference on the Inorganic Scintillators and their applications: Crystal2000. This event allowed to create a community of 250 scientists for the in-depth research on inorganic scintillators. This community (scintillators' experts, industrial representatives, end-users) meets regularly (every two years) at dedicated conferences on inorganic scintillators and their applications in different areas (the SCINT conferences). Many CCC members participate actively to the organisation of these events.
